Where Cajun Heritage Meets Timeless Taste
For over 40 years, Baudin’s Sausage Kitchen has been a cornerstone of flavor and tradition in the heart of Louisiana. As a proud family-owned food processing plant, Baudin’s has built its reputation on crafting mouth-watering sausage, authentic Cajun boudin, and richly smoked parts that embody generations of culinary heritage.
What began as a small family operation has grown into a beloved local institution, where quality ingredients and time-honored recipes come together to create products that are as much about community as they are about taste.
A Legacy of Flavor: The History of Baudin’s Sausage Kitchen
1st Generation: Edward & Leona Baudin
The journey began with Edward and Leona Baudin, who first made their mark in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, running Baudin’s Supermarket. Their passion for Cajun food led them to open Baudin’s Sausage Kitchen in St. Martinville, where they spent countless long nights experimenting with recipes. Through trial and error, they perfected the bold, authentic flavors that remain the foundation of the brand today.
